Team Rubber sponsors the Playable City AwardWe are lucky enough to work in Bristol, an amazing and vibrant city which is full of creative people and interesting things to see and do. On our doorstep is Watershed, best described in their own words, ‘…a cross-artform venue and producer, sharing, developing and showcasing exemplary cultural ideas and talent. We are based in Bristol, but place no boundaries on our desire to connect with artists and audiences in the wider world.‘ This actually epitomises Bristol – a city both in the world and of the world.

Watershed has just launched a call for entries for its £30,000 Playable City Award. Artists and creatives from all over the world are invited to submit their ideas for a public work which will ‘champion Bristol as an international hub for cutting-edge creativity.’ The use of creative technologies, experimentation, and extreme thinking-outside-the-boxness will feature heavily in the piece. The work will live in Bristol for a time before touring the country.

The deadline for proposals is 5 December 2012.

Team Rubber, Delib’s parent company, is delighted to be a sponsorship partner for the Playable City Award. We can’t wait to see the end result!
