We’re looking for someone to help us persuade more people to use our excellent digital democracy platforms.

Delib works with hundreds of governments and public bodies around the world that are actively encouraging and support citizens to participate in democratic processes and decision online, for the benefit of everyone. All to the good, but before anyone can use our stuff, whether it be governments or citizens, someone has to sell them and that’s where you come in.

We’re looking for people who’ve got a few years of selling experience under their belt with demonstrable results, in any B2B environment. Applications will be judged against: past experience, attitude, aptitude to the role and the all-important cover letter outlining your charm in a compelling way.

We do all the usual stuff in our consultancy-focussed commercial team – operate a CRM system, audit markets, look for emerging markets, plan sales-based marketing campaigns, obsess over individual and company pipelines, establish short, medium and long term sales targets and yes, we also have strict KPIs, which, in time, you’ll be expected to hit.

This role is mid-level with the expectation of progression as your knowledge of democracy, technology and governance increases. Delib is a small team with a relatively flat hierarchy and we value autonomy, hard work, honesty and plain talking above all else.

The job is based in central Bristol and perks include fruit, 25 types of (arguably pointless) tea, a fancy coffee machine, flexi-time, your own Mac, the odd company holiday and a simple dress code: wear clothes.

Salary is £24K-26K as a starting point.
